Chiropractic at the Winter Olympics
The 2010 U.S. Olympic Medical Team, 47 members strong, features five doctors of chiropractic including three alumni of Southern California University of Health Sciences (SCU), including Michael Reed, DC, who is serving as medical director. Eric St. Pierre, DC, and Tesuya Hasegawa, DC, are also serving on the team, which is supporting U.S. athletes in Vancouver and Whistler, British Columbia, at the 2010 Winter Olympic Games.

ACC-RAC 2010 is the combination of the Association of Chiropractic Colleges (ACC) meeting and scientific/educational conference, which emphasizes educational structure, administration, teaching, and peer reviewed presentations, and the Research Agenda Conference (RAC), which focuses on the development of scientific knowledge, skills, and attitudes through workshop sessions. The combination of the two programs continues to enhance and nurture the natural relationship between chiropractic scholarship and education.
Through various styles of presentation, including plenary sessions, platform presentations, workshops, and poster sessions, the 2010 conference will focus on clinical, basic science, educational research, and the topic of Public Health.
