ACC-RAC PRESENTER INFORMATION

ACC-RAC 2021 will be a combination of live presentations and on demand presentations.  All keynotes and workshops will be live and platforms and posters will be on demand.  The virtual event platform utilizes Zoom, so all the normal Zoom capabilities and functions are available.  Information for platform, poster and workshop presenters are as follows below and some helpful links can be found at the bottom of this page.  We will have more detailed instructions on how to login, rehearsal date options, etc. in the coming weeks.

Platform Presenters:

We are pleased to announce that with the virtual format, all platform presentations will be available for all attendees to view.  Your platform presentation will be continuously available for those registered for the conference from Friday, March 19, 2021 through Friday, April 2, 2021.  There is no specific date or time that you must be available for presentation or questions.  Instead, attendees can view your platform presentation at their leisure and pose questions online, which will be sent directly to this email address or another email that you designate to us.  Presenters should respond to emailed questions within 48 hours of receipt.

Therefore, please submit:

  • One PowerPoint file per accepted platform presentation.  This PowerPoint slide must include up to an eleven-minute voice over (voice over PowerPoint instructions link is provided at the bottom of this page).  Based on continuing education requirements, it is imperative that the presentation is as close to 11 minutes as possible. This submission is due not later than February 26, 2021, although we would greatly appreciate it if sent earlier.

Please send your voice over PowerPoints to Shannon Thomas ([email protected]) using www.wetransfer.com as they're too large to come through regular email.

  • One true/false or multiple-choice quiz question and answer per accepted platform presentation.  This question should reflect that the attendee has engaged in your presentation; it is not meant to stump the attendee or be overly difficult or obvious.  Continuing education requires attendees pass a short quiz at the end of each platform session to earn continuing education credits.  This question and answer is due no later than February 1, 2021 as CE needs to submit all Q&A to the states for compliance with approval protocol.  We realize that this is a quick turnaround and really appreciate your help in complying with CE requirements.

Please submit the above items to Shannon Thomas ([email protected]).

Poster presenters:

Your poster will be continuously available for those registered for the conference from Friday, March 26, 2021, through Friday, April 2, 2021.  There is no specific date or time that you must be available for presentation or questions.  Instead, attendees can view your poster at their leisure and pose questions online, which will be sent directly to this email address or another email you designate to us.  Presenters should respond to emailed questions within 48 hours of receipt. Please let us know if you wish to designate a different email asap.

Therefore, please submit one PowerPoint slide per accepted poster presentation to Shannon Thomas ([email protected]); this PowerPoint slide may include up to a five-minute optional voice over (voice over PowerPoint instructions link is provided at the bottom of this page).  This submission is due no later than February 26, 2021, although we would greatly appreciate it if sent earlier.  If sending a voice over PowerPoint, please send to Shannon Thomas ([email protected]) using www.wetransfer.com as they're too large to come through regular email.

Workshop Presenters:

Please see the conference schedule page for your workshop presentation time which will be on either Friday, March 26, 2021, or Saturday, March 27, 2021. This presentation should include 70-80 minutes of content, reserving at least 10 minutes for Q&A at the end (for CE compliance), and could include an optional 10-minute break.  You will have the option of using Zoom breakouts rooms. Please designate one member of your presentation team to monitor and moderate the online chat feature for questions and feedback during the presentation and closing question/answer session. This moderator will ensure that the presentation team receives relevant questions and responds accordingly. We will provide a practice session for all moderators and screen sharers.

Therefore, please submit:

  • The name and email of the team member who will moderate the session.

  • The name and email (if different) of the team member who will be responsible for sharing the screen of the PowerPoint file for the presentation. Please note that this could be more than one person.

  • Four true/false or multiple-choice quiz questions and answers regarding the workshop presentation.  These questions should reflect that the attendee has engaged in the presentation; they are not meant to stump the attendee or be overly difficult or obvious.  Continuing education requires attendees pass a short quiz at the end of each workshop session in order to earn continuing education credits.

Please submit the above items to Shannon Thomas ([email protected]) no later than February 22, 2021, although we would greatly appreciate it if sent earlier.
